2019 International Forum for Peer Learning

The 2019 International Forum for Peer Learning is taking place on 5th – 6th June, 2019. It will be hosted by the University of Brighton, and supported by Lund University Sweden which hosted the first Peer Learning Forum in 2017.

The forum is organised by the International Academic Peer Learning network, specifically by a group of peer learning practitioners who are interested in developing peer learning and the experiences of students, whether undergraduate or postgraduate.

We are excited to bring you this international event, and are looking forward to hosting up to 120 delegates to the forum. We have received some outstanding presentation proposals and are working to bring an inspiring programme together which involves staff and student participants and presenters. 10:00 – 10:30 Lightning Talks – topics such as creative approaches, challenges of PAL and renewal, addressing disadvantage

11:00 – 11:30 Paper Presentations – topics such as:

o   peer mentoring schemes, widening participation and access to peer learning, impact evaluation, student transitions

13:30 – 14:00 Mini Workshops – interactive sessions to develop skills and awareness in the areas of:
